Diderma testaceum

Sporocarps:-  sessile, gregarious, hemispherical or depressed, globose, flesh-coloured or pinkish blue, smooth.

Hypothallus:-  inconspicuous.

Peridium:-  double, the outer layer porcelain-like, separating from the inner membranous layer which remains adhering to the spore mass.

Columella:- conical, prominent, pinkish-brown, rough.

Capillitium:-  abundant, pale, delicate, sparsely branched threads.

Spore-mass black,  pale brown by transmitted light, minutely warted.

Plasmodium yellowish-buff.
