Anthela ochroptera

The adult moth of this species is pale brown. The forewings each have several dark brown curved transverse bands of differing widths, and two dark-outlined brown spots. The hindwing have similar but reduced markings. The wingspan of the male is about 5 cms. The wingspan of the female is about 7 cms. The species has been found in:  New South Wales,  Victoria, and  South Australia.
