The Stalk:-  is erect 0.5 – 1.5mm, slender pale orchraceous; wrinkled with parallel sides.


Sporangia:-  globose, greyish white 0.4 – 0.6mm, short columella, dense capillitium; retains shape after dehiscence; 


Spores:- dark greyish brown.


Habitat – wet decaying wood; gregarious
