User's notes
Eastern Koel being fed by a red wattlebird. Last year was the first time I noticed the call of a Koel and I actively searched them out to find the parents. This year is the first time I have seen a young and first time I've seen brood parasitism in full swing. There were a number of red wattlebirds in the area - 4 or 5 - but I only counted three of them feeding the koel. The nest where it was raised is a few trees away.
