TAXONOMY STRUCTURES FOR:
PLANTS, FUNGI, LICHENS MOSSES ETC, SLIME MOULDS AND ALGAE, CYANOBACTERIA ETC.
THAT IS, FOR NON-ANIMAL CATEGORIES.
Note that Marine organisms are not included.
Non-animals living organisms are divided into the categories of Plants; Fungi; Lichens, Mosses & other Bryophytes; Slime Moulds; Algae, Cyanobacteria, other bacteria and viruses.
These are the level one categories. These categories are then divided into sub-categories. For example, Plants are divided into Daisies, Lilies & Irises, Peas etc. These are called level two categories. Again some of these are further divided into lower level sub-categories. For example, Fungi are divided into level three categories. For example "Caps on stems with pores below caps" are divided into Boletes and Polypores. Slime Moulds and Algae, Cyanobacteria etc are only level one categories.
The lists shown here are for NatureMapr's national pages: https://naturemapr.org/
