I wonder if the current name for this shouldn’t be Rhodofomitopsis lilacinogilva (Berk.) B.K. Cui, M.L. Han & Y.C. Dai, in Han, Chen, Shen, Song, Vlasák, Dai & Cui, Fungal Diversity 80: 366 (2016), as shown in species fungorum. The study published in the Fungal Diversity paper using multiple loci showed that phylogenetic analysis confirmed that Fomitopsis s. l. was poly-phyletic, and seems to support results of previous studies referred to in that paper.

Thanks for the reference. I've changed it to R. lilacinogilva complex for the reasons given in the descriptive note.
