Seed dispersal, disturbed area, no fruit or suckers, separate plant. Possible garden waste.

Hi

Do you think this was planted deliberately, or sown by seed dispersal, or grown from a sucker?

What environment was it growing in?

Did it have fruits or was it sprouting at its base or from its roots?

Thanks
Kate

The first sighting of the day had the right location, but this one showed as Phillip.

Hypericum perforatum

"woodiness" is also relative, hibbertias are certainly woody enough to be considered shrubs but not to the same extent as some other groups (say epacris). Cyphanthera albicans so far has only been found in Namadgi locallly

Hibbertia obtusifolia
