I really shouldn’t be surprised but I saw nine tiny wasps instead of a cockroach when I looked in the container today - I’m assuming they’re Evaniidae (family), but there are nine and apparently Evaniidae only lay one egg per ootheca…
Unfortunately I didn’t choose a great container so it’s hard to get (good) photos, but I’ve popped them in the fridge so I can transfer them to something better to take pictures of them.
