I first got involved in NatureMapr in 2019 when I joined a group of photographers taking moth photos for what was to become the book Moths in the ACT. The authors of the book also later entrusted me with doing the layout for the book (everything but the cover), something that I had never done before. It was a huge challenge that I enjoyed very much.
I worked in IT for my entire career but I have always been interested in nature and photography. After I stopped working, insect and bird photography became my passion. I was putting my photos up on flickr at www.flickr.com/photos/kasia-pics for a quite a few years.
I still enjoy taking nature photos and I now post them on NatureMapr. I have participated in NatureMapr surveys and I also get involved in NatureMapr software testing whenever I can.
