I expect there are many more unknowns. Or variations of known ones not documented. This one is different than many as it has isolated white spots at wing base, they don't form a white band right across the 'shoulders'. This rules out many sp.

No they are not the same. I think the above moth is closer to Macrobathra melanomitra than sighting 446148 which I suspect is not even Macrobathra - it's wings are broader.
