Looks to me like an a Aristida species. Lisa poaceae is the grass family - it contains all grasses including Poa

Poa sp.

Thanks Don
The very next day, we spotted the hare cantering down our street in Aranda at about 11am. It has been chewing on our precious plants in the recreation park opposite so it has no friends here.

Great photo.
This appears to be A mimetes mimetes (Dusky Antechinus).
- general chocolate colouring is typical for A m m in Sydney sandstone region
- ear is smaller than in A stuartii
- tail is shorter than in A st
- fore-claws are much longer than in A st

What I found:

Poa is a genus within the family Poaceae.

Poa includes grasses like Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis), and Poaceae is the large family of grasses that includes all true grasses like wheat, corn, bamboo, and rice.

That should cover it. :-)

Poa sp.
