Hi Frecko

I am one of the supervisors of citizen science studies on Gang-gang diet and nesting ecology - which are winding up and either published or publications are being prepared. One aspect that remains a big unknown is Gang-gang movement. Throughout the year Gang-gangs will eat the cones of cupressus and the Black Cypress you have also been posting. Crowther is about the western limit for Gang-gang distribution - I was wondering whether you have observed any feeding on cones in your area and during what time of the year.
Thanks Michael Mulvaney

Thanks Heather - Liquidamber pods become the favoured Gang-gang food in Canberra during May - so this one is getting an early start
